Who are you?
My name is Wilmer. I make games (slowly) and work with IT (constantly). This site is where I document both.
an artist and IT-technician passionate about creating, experimenting, and exploring new systems. My work spans from digital automation to creative projects that combine technology and art.
About my interests and hobbies
My journey bridges technology and creativity. I design workflows, build scripts, and tinker with systems like NixOS and n8n, as well as working solo-dev on a game. At the same time, I enjoy making visual art that explores form, color, and contrast.
I’m always curious, whether it’s testing a new programming language, experimenting with automation, or sketching concepts that merge technology and aesthetics.
Game dev
I am currently working, sparodically, on a game in the Godot engine. I'm doing all the work myself, some friends help here and there when they want.
Design, 3D models, textures, particles, all me. However, I do use Claude for programming exclusively. The game is heavily inspired by the King's Field and Shadow Tower series.
A slow paced, limited combat, first person, low poly, dungeon crawler. I have an itch.io site for the game that will be updated as the game progesses.
The setting will be a dark fantasy world, with cosmic horror elements.

The name
Desert frogs (like the Australian water-holding frog) bury themselves underground and wait — sometimes for years — for rain. Then they emerge all at once and go absolutely wild. My project cycle works exactly the same way.
